As always, we are looking forward to seeing what our COBRA members are getting up to over regatta season so please let us know when and where you will be racing!
Congratulations to COBRA members Molly Curry and Rachel Bradley on their performances at Wallingford Regatta this weekend.
Molly, racing for Molesey Boat Club, secured the win in the Women’s Championship 4x-, while Rachel, representing Thames Rowing Club, claimed bronze in the Women’s Challenge VIII+.
Fantastic results, well done ladies!
We are extremely grateful to Connor Campbell and CD Engineering Services for their generous donation of a new CoxBox to Coleraine GS Rowing Club.
This equipment will play a vital role in helping our crews train and race more effectively, while also providing an important safety tool for our coxswains.
As always, it’s already been put straight to use in training, with our first regatta of the season taking place on Saturday in Portadown.
Huge congratulations to COBRA member Molly Curry on her recent performance at the GB Senior Trials! Competing against some of the very best athletes in the UK, including Olympic gold medallists, Molly delivered an outstanding weekend of racing in double sculls.
She has now been invited back to Caversham to continue the trials this week. Best of luck, Molly!

COBRA Day 2025
We would like to say a massive thank you to those who attended this year's COBRA Day whether racing, spectating or joining us for our AGM and dinner!
With the weather and river conditions on our side again this year we were able to get a men's 4x and women's VIII+ race on the water.
Racing began with the COBRA men's 4x- and CGSRC men's 4x- and 4x+. COBRA took the win in the end to claim back the title from the school. However, was fantastic to see 3 crews racing alongside each other and performing well.
The COBRA and CGSRC women took to the water next. Both crews had a fast start with COBRA just edging ahead. After last year's defeat COBRA were keen to hold this and managed to claim back their trophy also.
Huge well done to the CGSRC and COBRA rowers (and supporters!) for putting in a huge effort to allow us to have such fantastic races year on year. Without the support shown for these races COBRA Day would not be possible, we look forward to seeing you again next year!
Come forward…ATTENTION…
With just 20 days until COBRA Day 2025, we still have seats in both the women and men’s crews to fill!
The AGM and dinner will be held in the evening, members will have received an email containing further details.
If you’re interested in racing please get in contact as soon as possible.
