Calling past CAIBC oarsmen who were coached by Sid Grey or Steen Anderson.
COBRA have purchased a new 8+ and 2x for the rowing club and are naming them after these two stalwarts of the club on Saturday 9th December at 11am at the boathouse. Sid and Steen will be doing the naming honours, so this an open invitation for anyone to come along and share the occasion.
These boats were bought primarily through the donations of recent alumni, many of whom don’t even know Sid or Steen. But we still need to buy blades for the boats. If you would like to help, you can make a donation, or perhaps take out annual membership of COBRA, on the "Donate" or "Join" pages of our website https://cobrarowing.co.uk/
If you can’t make it to the boat naming, feel free to leave a comment for Sid or Steen.

Congratulations to the winners and well done to everyone who took part!
As part of the Tesco Stronger Starts campaign, COBRA has been selected locally as one of 3 initiatives to benefit. Tesco customers in the Coleraine, Portstewart or Ballymoney stores can vote by placing a blue token in the COBRA container. The project aims to purchase new oars for Coleraine Grammar School Rowing Club, benefitting young athletes on the water.
Voting is now open and will run until mid-January 2024!
